Sarah Wade is New SCRC Processing Archivist

Sarah Wade joins UK Libraries as a processing archivist for the Special Collections Research Center on August 8. She has previously worked in SCRC on various projects. Since December 2015, she has processed portions of the Prichard Committee records and the W. Hugh Peal Collection. As the UK Libraries Ezra Gillis University Archives Fellow, Sarah spent three months processing the Ron Eller papers.

Before relocating to Lexington, Sarah was a librarian and archivist at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. She received master’s degrees in library science and art history from the Pratt Institute in New York, where she pursued coursework focused on cultural history and special collections, and earned an advanced certificate in archives.
